Kruger National Park - Camp Accommodation
Kruger Park offers a wide variety of accommodation: rest camps (main camps), bushveld camps, bush lodges and caravan & camp sites. These vary in price, style; from rustic to luxurious. Camping / Caravan Sites, en-suite chalets, cottages, furnished safari tents, thatched rondavels, bungalows & huts. All accommodation facilities in Kruger National Park are serviced daily. Major rest camps have electricity, a first-aid centre, a shop, braai (barbecue) and communal kitchen facilities, a laundromat, a restaurant and/or self-service cafeteria, public telephones and a petrol (gas) station. Some camps in Kruger National Park also have swimming pools. Game and night drives are available at most of the larger camps. There are 12 main rest camps. Orpen and Crocodile Bridge are gate camps and are the only ones that do not have restaurant facilities. All the main rest camps have shops. They are:
